Assignment: Create Your Weblog

Due Wednesday 30 May

In class yesterday we began the process of creating the weblogs you will be using for the course. Today we will continue the process. By the time class begins tomorrow (Wednesday) you should have done the following:

1. Set up a basic weblog;
2. Posted one entry on your weblog (for this assignment, the topic is not important; the point now is just to make sure that you are able to post an entry);
3. Added a link to our course weblog in your blogroll;
4. Posted a link to your weblog (along with your name) as a comment to this entry

Today in class we will quickly review creating your weblog and posting an entry, as well as adding a link to your blogroll. Once we have covered the basics required for the assignment, we will look at some of the “extras” that you can use to change the look and function of your weblog.
